Donor Recognition Policy
 The
Giving Tree
The Foundation's policy is to recognize major contributions in a manner
most directly related to the nature of the contribution. Recognition levels
reflect cumulative giving totals. Pledges of $5,000 or more may be paid over
5 years and will be recognized upon receipt of the signed pledge and first
payment.
- All donors will be listed in the Annual Report and
the appropriate issue of the Foundation Newsletter, and will receive
invitations to special events.
- Those who make memorial/honor/tribute gifts will be
honored on the Library web-site.
- Those who make designated gifts toward the purchase
of tangible items will be recognized with a plaque or plate on the
item once it is placed within the Library.
- Those who make gifts to the Perpetual Book Fund Endowment
will be recognized by having their name engraved on the Perpetual
Book Endowment plaque on the second floor of the Library.
- Donors to the Giving Tree will have their name, or their designee’s
name, engraved on the appropriate leaf and displayed on the Giving
Tree in the Lobby.
The Foundation honors any request from a donor for anonymity.
